Xerox's Rewards Program Expands to Include Supplies for Non-Xerox Equipment
NORWALK, Conn.—November 5, 2015—The Genuine Xerox Rewards (GXR) program awards customers points for the toner and solid ink they purchase for their Xerox equipment—redeeming them for a wide variety of business related or personal merchandise and vouchers. Now, the first-of-its kind loyalty program in the printing and imaging industry extends to include the purchase of Xerox branded supplies for non-Xerox printers.
Leveraging its expertise in printer and toner technology, Xerox offers toner cartridges and supplies for competitors’ laser printers. They are backed by a 100 percent lifetime warranty and priced 25-35 percent below the cost of originals.
“With Genuine Xerox Supplies, we know we are getting a dependable product,” commented Jason Tincher, IT specialist, Solid Platforms, headquartered in Portage, Indiana. “With Genuine Xerox Rewards, we periodically receive rebates for our purchases, which defray costs to help our bottom line. The program requires very little effort on our part and offers tangible rewards that benefit our organization.”
Since the introduction of GXR in April 2013, thousands of Xerox customers have taken advantage of the program and use the savings to help their businesses work better. The program is currently operating in 10 countries and expects to grow to about 15 countries by the end of 2016.
Customers accumulate points no matter how supplies are purchased, including from Xerox partners, resellers, retail stores or eCommerce websites. There are multiple redemption options, and customers can even elect to donate their points to a charitable organization.
In the United States, Xerox offers supplies for HP and Brother laser printers. In Europe, the range additionally includes Canon, Epson, IBM and others depending on participating region.
