XMPie to Showcase PersonalEffect Upgrade at On Demand
Also making its first appearance at On Demand is XMPie’s Response URL™ (RURL) Wizard and templates. Included in PersonalEffect 4.6, the RURL Wizard and templates provides the industry’s first automated way of creating cross-media campaigns that enable an ongoing e-media dialogue. The provided templates, including those for secure URLs and viral marketing, contain all of the necessary technology, as well as Web site and campaign flow and campaign tracking.
For example, a campaign template features a personalized postcard, response Web site and follow-up e-mail that can be used for an event invitation and RSVP. Another provides a personalized e-mail leading to a response Web site with update capabilities that can be used by a business looking to solicit updated customer contact information.
“The RURL Wizard will take marketers, print providers and creatives to new levels of efficiency, expertise and profitability,” said Barb Pellow, group leader, InfoTrends. “With this tool, XMPie has developed an important solution that will speed up one-to-one marketing campaigns from concept to revenue generation for beginners as well as experts.”
PersonalEffect 4.6 also includes U2 — a print production workflow harnessing XMPie’s patented Gossiping Cluster technology for unmatched output stream generation speed. With U2, users enjoy robust print production capabilities without compromising state-of-the-art creativity.
With PersonalEffect 4.6, XMPie is introducing the fault-tolerant uProduce™ Cluster Configuration. This configuration has been architecturally-enhanced to allow users to integrate with standard Microsoft technology for fault-tolerant personalized cross-media campaign production. By separating the critical components, such as file systems and databases, from the working systems, XMPie has successfully leveraged the fault-tolerant cluster configuration with Microsoft clustering and load balancing technologies to develop a solution for even the most robust production environments. The uProduce Cluster Configuration ensures that if a system component fails, cross-media production will continue without downtime.
