xpedx Sponsoring, Participating in DScoop7 User Conference

CINCINNATI, OH—March 16, 2012—xpedx, one of the largest distribution companies in North America, will be a leading sponsor for the annual Digital Solutions Cooperative conference (DScoop7) for HP graphics arts users in Washington, DC, from March 22-24. Dscoop is an independent global community of graphic arts business owners and technical professionals who use HP Indigo and Scitex equipment.

Although xpedx is one of the largest printing paper distributors, it will also demonstrate at the show its broad selection of substrates and media that can be used with the HP Indigo, said Dennis Killion, xpedx’s director, marketing-Graphics.

“In addition to coated and uncoated paper, xpedx also provides HP Indigo-certified media such as pressure sensitive and synthetic film and papers,” said Killion. “xpedx’s excellent distribution network ensures that customers have access to these substrates quickly and reliably.”

This year’s show is expected to bring renewed interest in packaging solutions. Killion said that xpedx’s Package Design Centers, located in 13 markets throughout the U.S., are ideally situated to provide packaging support to HP users.

xpedx will have a working Kongsberg cutting table and package design experts on hand in booth #323 at Dscoop7 to help Indigo users learn about package design solutions that can grow their business. xpedx will also present HP users with end-to-end printing solutions including products and equipment for print management, workflow, color management, wide format and finishing.

Killion will lead a breakout session titled, “Total Integration - Delivering Value Beyond Distribution” at 11:15 a.m. on Friday, March 23.
