The Youngstown Letter Shop and Postal Mail Sort are merging to operate under the name YLS Inc.
The two companies believe the merger will have a positive impact, strengthen the services provided, provide opportunities to create an expanded base, broaden resources and expand services.
The change also will mean an eventual relocation to a new, up-to-date facility at 3650 Connecticut Ave., Unit E, Youngstown, Ohio.
Frank Tuscano will remain at the helm of the new YLS Inc. as the current generation of the Tuscano family, which has guided the Youngstown Letter Shop for more than 30 years. The company has provided printing, mailing, and a full suite of direct marketing services to its customers for more than 100 years.
Jeff Hill and his team at Postal Mail Sort have served the first class mail presort and standard mailing market for decades and be part of the new YLS Inc. Postal Mail Sort describes itself as the largest mailing house between Cleveland/Akron and Pittsburgh, providing low and high volumes of mail serves.
In a letter announcing the merger, it was noted the relocation will take place over the upcoming months while all service will be conducted at the current locations during the transition. Those using the services will be notified about the official date when the company will transition to the new location. Those with questions are welcome to call a member of the team.
Additionally, the announcement notes the corporate name will begin changing on invoices, and there may be new people answering calls and emails, but products and services will remain unchanged.
YLS Direct provides printing, marketing mailing, creative services, eMail marketing, personalized URL sites, web sites and micro sites.
Efforts to reach Tuscano for comment were unsuccessful as of this posting.
