Yongcheng Shengda and Müller Martini seal a strategic partnership for digital transformation at drupa and orders nine Müller Martini lines.
Cui Wenfeng, CEO of Yongcheng Shengda, signed the contract at the Müller Martini booth together with Sven Olsen, Regional Director Asia Pacific at Müller Martini, and is thus investing in a total of nine Müller Martini lines. The company will use the majority of the lines to drive forward the digital transformation of its multi-site company based in Yongcheng, Henan Province, China. These include a SigmaLine Compact smart factory cell with an Antaro Digital perfect binder and a Granit three-knife trimmer, two Prinova Digital saddle stitchers and two Hunkeler Plowfolder book solutions.
Two Vareo PRO perfect binders, each connected to an InfiniTrim trimming robot, will be linked inline to the existing systems of the company, which is one of the largest commercial printers in China. The major order also includes two Primera PRO saddle stitchers, which will be integrated into Yongcheng Shengda's machine fleet.
“We are delighted to have been able to seal this strategic partnership with Yongcheng Shengda and to be able to support the company as a strong partner in its digital transformation in the future,” explains Sven Olsen, Managing Director of the Asia Pacific region at Müller Martini. “We are looking forward to sharing information and experience on digital development and future needs.”
