Zamora Reaches Settlement with Nogales

LOS ANGELES--Graphic Press founder John Zamora reports he has reached a settlement in a lawsuit he brought against Graphic Press LLC, Nogales Investors LLC, Nogales Investment Fund I, Luis Nogales and Mark Mickelson. The defending parties have agreed to pay him $9.2 million, according to Zamora.

Zamora says he sued the defendants for slander, breach of contract, wrongful termination, breach of fiduciary duty, wrongful disparagement, intentional interference with contract, intentional interference with prospective economic advantage, declaratory relief and equitable indemnity.

As part of the settlement, Zamora retains the rights to the identity of the company he founded, Graphic Press Inc., and regains the rights to the name Graphic Press LLC.

Mickelson is not to be confused with Printing Impressions Editor-in-Chief Mark Michelson.
