As part of a new academic collaboration to support the next generation of talent in the digital printing field, Hewlett-Packard (HP) has donated an HP Indigo 5000 digital press to Clemson University’s graphic communications program. Having hands-on experience using the HP Indigo 5000 digital press will give Clemson students invaluable access to that growing market segment through internship and career opportunities.

Yishai Amir has been appointed CEO of Landa and a member of the company’s board. Benny Landa will continue as active chairman.

At Labelexpo 2015, HP Indigo showcased new product features, upgrade packages, software enhancements and financing options.

Nachum Korman has been appointed vice president and general manager, North America, at Landa Digital Printing. Previously, he has held senior management positions at Scitex, Nur Macroprinters and Hewlett-Packard. "The appointment of Nachum Korman is of huge importance to the roll-out of our digital printing presses in North America," expressed Benny Landa, the company's chairman and CEO.

At GRAPH EXPO 15, a Presstek 52DI digital offset press was purchased by International Minute Press, based in Boise, Idaho.

The first HP PageWide Web Presses powered by HDNA and HP Indigo 7800 Digital Press enhancements were introduced by HP at GRAPH EXPO 15.
