A call for submissions for the annual Rod Key Marketing Excellence Award has been announced by Dscoop. Submissions are being accepted now through Nov. 21, 2014. The Rod Key Marketing Excellence Award recognizes one outstanding marketing campaign executed by a Dscoop member on behalf of their own business. The winner will be announced at DscoopX in March 2015, and will also be featured in Dscoop’s weekly e-newsletter.

An HP6800 digital roll label press has been installed at Mossberg & Co in South Bend, IN. The press comes with Delta Spectrum finishing system, which allows for short-run diecutting, traditional diecutting, hot or cold foil embossing, flexographic and screen printing.
An HP Indigo 7600 digital press was recently purchased by Boingo Graphics to increase its digital print capacity. With the installation, the company experienced a 35 percent year-to-date increase in sales. "This upgrade will triple our production speed and slash turnaround times," said Boingo Graphics Vice President Linda Kirby.
