Heidelberg recently hosted over 150 customers from the United States, Canada and Brazil for a full day of demonstrations and seminars at an open house. Customers who attended the event had the opportunity to view live demonstrations of the latest technology across Heidelberg’s comprehensive print portfolio, the North American launch of the new DryStar LED and the unveiling of its newly branded demonstration center, Print Media Center Atlanta.

Based in Garner, North Carolina, TCG Legacy recently added a new Linoprint CP from Heidelberg. This is the first Linoprint CP digital machine to be sold in the United States. "We have a lot less restrictions with this machine. We went from only printing up to 14 point thickness on our old machine to running 18 point thickness with the Linoprint," said Jeff Majewski, vice president of administration.

Two new Xerox presses have been acquired by Cincinnati-based Vya. The iGen 5 and a Xerox Color 1000i were installed in November.

Astro-Dynamic Print & Graphic Services expanded its services with the purchase of the Canon imagePRESS C700 color digital press.

Buyers Laboratory has named the Xerox Color C60 printer the winner of the PRO award in the color light production category.

Angstrom Graphics recently took delivery of a Xerox iGen 150 digital press.

Taking place Feb. 18-20, 2016, at the Miami Beach Convention Center, the GOA show floor will be bigger with a wide range of technology.

At a recent open house held at its Print Media Center in Atlanta, Heidelberg featured its expanding digital portfolio to more than 40 customers. The open house gave customers a deeper understanding of how Heidelberg’s digital solutions can maximize their profitability while increasing their applications and optimizing their productivity. "We see digital as a part of the complementary mix in our customers print portfolio," said Andy Rae, senior vice president, equipment.

Xerox has introduced a new thick stock option for the iGen 5 120 digital press that opens a new range of application flexibility.

The Xerox Color 800i/1000i presses were thoroughly evaluated by Color-Logic and found to meet all criteria for certification.
