Digital Printing-Toner - Cut Sheet (Mono)

This year marks the 75th anniversary of the first xerographic image, created by Chester Carlson in a rented second story room in Queens, NY. This humble invention would eventually lead to the formation of the Xerox Corp. and the birth of an industry. Even today, this xerographic process is still at the heart of most office printers and copiers around the world.
As a member of the HP Indigo Preferred Media Partner Program, Neenah Paper will support the needs of the HP Indigo printer community for premium substrates, with specific emphasis on premium uncoated papers.
A young designer I spoke to the other day was very frank about the fact that she did not like digital printing because you could only print on white paper. Granted there are some print providers that prefer to print on white coated stock all day long (digital or offset, it does not matter to them). And these few give our whole industry a bad reputation.
By installing a new Xerox Nuvera 144 EA production system, Braintree Printing, in Braintree, MA, can now produce up two million pages a month—a substantial jump in output for the company. The new Xerox Nuvera 144 EA also expands the types of applications Braintree offers, from direct mail to training manuals to book publishing.
One of the key drivers for the printing industry is going to be digital technology. Digital printing offers personalization, cost savings, improved output options and the ability to migrate traditional offset volume to a value added digital services business model.
