Digital textile printing is quickly transforming the world of display graphics. Merritt Graphics of East Hartford, CT, recently decided that the time was right and just finished installing a new PrinterEvolution Eos126 DS dye-sublimation printer. The machine simplifies dye-sublimation printing into a one-step process, achieving 24-hour-per-day production demands. It also added improved fabric finishing with an Impulsa Sewing System.
For the first time, PriscoDigital will be exhibiting at SGIA 2014, conducting live continuous end-to-end workflow demonstrations on various rigid media. Using high-speed production equipment and optimized software from HP Scitex, Caldera and Esko, PriscoDigital demonstrate the wide range of products that print service providers, commercial printers, packaging printers and others can produce.
Epson is the official inkjet printer and paper partner for the "Wilderness Forever: 50 Years of Protecting America’s Wild Places," exhibition at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History in Washington, DC. The exhibition-quality prints were created with Epson’s 44" Epson Stylus Pro 9900 inkjet printer.
Since installing an EF VUTEk HS100 Pro UV inkjet press and a VUTEk GS3250LX Pro LED inkjet printer with hybrid flatbed/roll-to-roll capabilities, Dome Printing in Sacramento, CA, has brought most of its large-format printing work in-house. Six new models have been unveiled by Canon U.S.A. in its imagePROGRAF lineup that include four new five-color, large-format inkjet printers, and two new large-format imaging systems. As part of a restoration project at the Panthéon building in Paris, Agfa Graphics printed the canvas walls and the floor of the famous building. The visual on the floor was composed of more than 70 panels, which were printed on an Anapurna M2500 large-format inkjet printer.
