Virtually all of the major bindery systems' manufacturers are now concentrating on digital print. And they're introducing new offerings at a rapid pace. This year's drupa will see an eye-popping number of new and innovative bindery offerings designed specifically for digital.

A major direct mail provider has chosen Scheffer International to mobilize a complex web finishing line.

Recently, British company Ultragraph replaced its Bravo saddle stitcher with a Presto II Digital, increasing its product offerings.

Quad/Graphics has installed a new custom digital color wide web press in its Direct Mail headquarters in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. In a configuration that is an industry first, the digital press will be joined with a full finishing line and a converted offset web press that will deliver full web inline finished products with expanded capabilities. "Direct marketers will gain a competitive edge with data-driven, hyper-personalized direct marketing that is impactful, cost-effective and delivers maximum return on investment," said Joel Quadracci, Quad/Graphics chairman, president and CEO.
