Hunkeler Innovationdays 2015, being held February 23-26, 2015, in Lucerne, Switzerland, will feature leading edge technologies in digital print and finishing, as well as practical solutions that integrate with every print production workflow.
Another successful Wide-Format Technology Summit was hosted by Fujifilm North America, Graphic Systems Division, this time at the company's all-new Chicago Technology Center in Hanover Park, IL. Nearly 50 people were in attendance to experience inkjet innovations and wide-format print applications, and also receive a tour of the new 23,000-square-foot facility.
This year's SGIA Product of the Year competition was held at the 2014 Expo in Las Vegas, October 22-24. The contest showcased the best printers, technologies and consumables from the specialty imaging community. "Whether they were a seasoned company or an industry newcomer, each and every entry came to win," said Ray Weiss, SGIA’s digital imaging specialist.

Vivid Laminating Technologies called GRAPH EXPO 14 an ideal opportunity to introduce and demonstrate its newest product lines, including the Matrix and Easymount ranges. The compact Bourg BB3202 PUR-C binder will be unveiled at GRAPH EXPO 14 in Chicago Sept. 28-Oct. 1, 2014, by C.P. Bourg. Xerox will demonstrate an in-line version of the new binder operating with the Xerox iGen 150 digital press in booth #1213.
As the world of print tilts more and more towards digital, MBO and MBO America have had to seriously rethink their game plan. Issues such as the trend towards very short runs, the lack of experienced bindery operators and the need to enter the digital finishing and packaging markets have all weighed heavily on them.
The second generation of Highcon Euclid II series of digital cutting and creasing machines incorporates several new features. The GRAPH EXPO 14 show will be the first public exhibit of the Highcon Euclid digital technology in the North American market, and the company will conduct live demos on the Highcon Euclid II+ machine.
At GRAPH EXPO 14, coming Sept. 28-Oct. 1, in Chicago, Rollem International will exhibit its full array of smart finishing solutions, including the new Delta Diecutter, the Jetstream high-volume finishing system, and the Mailstream all-in-one machine for high-value direct mail finishing.
