Hunkeler will host Innovationdays February 16-19, 2009 in Lucerne, Switzerland, where over 3,000 international experts and professionals from the areas of Print on Demand, Data Center, Mailroom, and Web Finishing will gather to see live demonstrations of the latest paper processing solutions and applications. Innovationdays will take place at the Lucerne trade fair complex on the shores of Lake Lucerne.

AS DIGITAL printing demand, applications and operations grow, adjustments are being made in finishing strategies. In-, near- and off-line solutions all still have their place, but determining the best approach has become a more site-specific decision.

CHICAGO—November 10, 2008—Rollem International and Hewlett-Packard demonstrated automation in digital print finishing with the premier showing of the new HP UV coater running in-line with the Rollem Jetstream.  The new Indigo 7000 printed colorful 13x19” press sheets containing 8 recipe cards which were coated and fed directly into the Jetstream for in-line cutting, edge trimming and two-directional slitting, followed by a new Auto-Collation unit gathering the cards into finished sets.

Countless binding and finishing technology providers were candid in their positive assessments of how the scene went down in McCormick Place South. It wasn’t all cartwheels and champagne popping, but this year’s Graph Expo did exceed the expectations of many.
