Do the following: 1) Turn off the power switch. 2) Unplug the folding stations and/or deliveries from first station. 3) Plug a blind/dummy plug into first station. 4) Turn the power back on and restart the machine. If the folder still doesn't start, check the jam switch, fuses or drive button contacts. If the feeder is not working, check the double sheet detector, fuses or feed button contacts. If the first station started and/or fed properly, plug in the next units one at a time using the blind/dummy plug to find which station or delivery is causing the problem. Then check connections in plugs, fuses, jam switches and button
The best time to make a quality check of printed sheets is either immediately before or during jogging. At this stage, crumpled sheets can easily be sorted out, and the appearance of the remaining sheets can be examined. The sheets also can be checked for even positioning by looking at the cutting marks printed on them. By turning the sheets over while fanning them out, the operator can also detect sheets that have been positioned in the press with their sides incorrectly aligned.
