DavCo Advertising has received its sixth Ryobi installation in the last 20 years, this time a four-color, 36" Ryobi 924 press with aqueous coater. The new press was installed in March at its 35,000-square-foot facility in Kinzers, PA, southeast of Lancaster.
Next month, Graphic Edge Printing and Packaging will become the first in the United States to install a 31" Ryobi 755XL-D Packaging Edition offset press. The new press will be among the spotlighted topics at the RYOBI MHI Open House May 7-8 in metro Atlanta.

New offerings in package printing, general commercial printing, specialty printing, security printing and LED-UV instant curing were demonstrated at the RYOBI MHI Graphic Technology headquarters manufacturing facility outside of Hiroshima, during an open house held last week. Representatives from the company’s U.S. and Canadian distribution group, Graphic Systems North America, attended the open house with customers. GSNA markets and sells to commercial, in-plant, specialty and package printers.
The new 29" Heidelberg XL 75 Anicolor digital offset press is now available in the North American market. The press is ideal for commercial, label, package printing and P-O-P applications. On Jan. 29, PrintMediaCentr hosted an hour-long #PrintChat about short-run offset and Heidelberg’s XL 75 Anicolor press.
The new Speedmaster CD 102 from Heidelberg, equipped with Preset Plus Delivery and a comprehensive package of automation components, can boost productivity by around 10 percent on the previous series. The press will be available in April.
MPress, one of the largest full-service commercial printers in New Orleans, has chosen a six-color, 29" Komori Lithrone SX29 (LSX629) press to accommodate its growing business with quicker turnaround times. The company has increased its productivity by more than 50 percent since installing the press.
