DS Graphics Garners Landmark Perfector

LOWELL, MA—DS Graphics has installed the first Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 105 press in the United States equipped with a perfecting device (XL 105-P). The 10-color press features Prinect Inpress Control for measuring and controlling color and register on the fly. The press is already producing one million two-sided impressions per week for DS Graphics.

Quebecor World Awarded More Work

MONTREAL—Quebecor World has been awarded substantial new print volume from US Weekly, a celebrity and entertainment title published by Wenner Media. Under the agreement, Quebecor World will print almost 20 percent more volume, giving it a majority of the magazine's share. Most of the increased volume will be produced at its Dallas facility. Earlier this year, Quebecor World notched a multi-year pact with Wenner, becoming the exclusive printer for such titles as Rolling Stone and Men's Journal.

Carter Stepping Down from Komori America Helm

DG3 Welcomes Former Pace Press Execs
