Offset Printing - UV/LED Curing

Global UV systems manufacturer IST METZ will be displaying a large portfolio of UV products at drupa 2016.

When Lightning Printing was provided the opportunity to acquire Wallace Carlson Printing, Ann and Brian Turbeville decided to rebrand.

Air Motion Systems (AMS) will introduce three new LED UV technologies at drupa 2016. New highlights include a MultiWave LED-UV module featuring the industry's first uniform blend of Wide Spectrum UV and LED wavelengths at equivalent power levels. AMS will also feature a low-profile LED module, called the XD Series, for easy conversion of space-restricted machines to LED printing, and the X-AIR Series that is designed for machines and applications where air-cooling can be realized into the space of the machine.

As the authorized distributor for RMGT (RYOBI MHI Graphic Technology) sheetfed offset presses in North America, Graphic Systems North America (GSNA) will showcase the latest innovations from RMGT at a Pre-drupa Customer Event at Metzgers Printing + Mailing in Toledo, Ohio, on May 10, 2016.

The Rapida 75 PRO from KBA will be unveiled at drupa 2016. This new press closes the gap to the highly automated Rapida 76.

As the North American distributor for RMGT, Graphic Systems North America (GSNA) will present a large lineup of presses at drupa 2016.

This Gold Ink Awards entry was submitted by Wallace Carlson Printing in Minnesota, and entered into the Sheetfed Brochures category.

A record number of attendees amplified networking opportunities at Print UV 2016. At the event, Air Motion Systems provided a handful of presentations, including “Designing the Culture of Value-Added Process Development” from Hans Ulland, VP of sales; and “From UV to LED, Curing Innovations March Forward" by President and CEO Steve Metcalf.

At drupa, KBA-Flexotenica will showcase its CI flexo NEO XD LR Hybrid.

Due to extraordinary growth and needed capacity, a second 10-color EvoXD press will be installed at Signature Flexible Packaging.
