Heidelberg is now augmenting its technology portfolio with perfectly coordinated ink series sold under the Saphira label, offering users machine technology and consumables from a single source. The new ink series, available as Saphira Ink Low Energy UV 100 and 400, are ideal for printing on paper, card/board, and non-absorbent materials.

Flint Group has launched Ultraking XCURA and Ultraking XCURA LED, the next generation of UV low energy and UV LED curing ink technology for Sheetfed offset applications. Both Ultraking XCURA and Ultraking XCURA LED products have high color strength, display sharp ink/water stability and require lower levels of energy to operate.

RadTech-The Association for UV and EB Technologies announces the formation of a new committee devoted to fast-emerging UV LED technology. The group’s first meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, in Redondo Beach, CA, co-located with uv.eb WEST.
