New updates have been added to Konica Minolta Business Solutions' Dispatcher Phoenix family of workflow automation product offerings. Dispatcher Phoenix Release 4.0 now allows end users to scan and upload files to leading cloud storage service providers such as Box, Dropbox and Microsoft OneDrive. Additional new features include advanced forms processing and PDF data extraction.

Dalim Software's annual 2014 US DUO Conference, held last month at the Westin Georgetown in Washington, DC, attracted graphic arts professionals, brands, retailers, institutions and their respective marketing and communication supply chains. The event also marked the appointment of Marcus Spiegler, preflight operations manager, AAAS, as president of DUO, and Chad Gray, senior developer and workflow specialist at Carey Color, as vice president of US DUO.
EFI has acquired French printing and packaging software solutions developer Group Rhapso S.A. While financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, it is not expected to be material to EFI's Q2 or full-year 2014 results. Rhapso's employees have joined EFI and will be integrated into EFI's European operations.
