4over’s suit asserted claims for trade secret misappropriation and unauthorized use of its customer database. The company reportedly received a monetary settlement, in addition to Zoo Printing and Eoncode Inc., an affiliated company, being obligated to destroy all copies of 4over’s customer database.

It’s not an exaggeration to call 4over the most well-known trade printer in the industry. The $78 million firm now has facilities in seven states and Canada. “Our company took advantage of the economic downturn. We did the opposite of what everyone else was doing—stopping and waiting,” says Zarik Megerdichian, the CEO of Glendale, CA-based national trade printer.

In a move that’ll likely shake up the printing industry, American uber trade printer, 4Over says it is ready to set up operations in Toronto. In an e-mail interview with PrintCAN, a company spokesperson said 4Over will be operational in mid-2011. Though he would not divulge many details about the plan in progress, he did say the company has identified a “building” and is finalizing its plans.
Asked what attracted 4Over to Canada, the rep wrote that the company has a loyal following here and it has experienced growth in its Canadian client base.
