DES MOINES, IA—Jerry Miller, 69, president of Acme Printing located here, died April 1, three days after suffering a stroke, the Des Moines Register reported. Mr. Miller purchased Acme Printing in 1976 and grew the business to more than $14 million in sales, taking it from a three-person shop to a plant with more than 100 employees.

WESTWOOD, MA—Universal Millennium (UM), a portfolio company of Calvert Street Capital Partners, has acquired the assets of Wilmington, MA-based Acme Printing from parent company The MATLET Group. According to UM CEO Bill Fitzgerald, the deal provides customers with a powerful suite of tools, from web and sheetfed printing to Web-to-print and digital printing capabilities, across three facilities.
