At Ipex in London’s ExCel this week, Technotrans announced a European partnership with Air Motion Systems | AMS UV, that is aimed to accelerate the adoption of LED UV-based energy curing systems in the sheetfed offset, web offset, narrow web flexographic and digital print markets.

Air Motion Systems | AMS UV will highlight the XP7 Series, its latest LED UV curing system, at the Print UV 2014 conference, scheduled to take place March 2-3, at the Wynn Las Vegas. The XP7 Series is capable of curing the heaviest coverages of inks and coating varnishes at top press speeds, and on the most difficult substrate materials, including poly films, metal-laminated stocks and specialty-treated papers at a fraction of the energy required of a conventional UV or IR/Hot Air dryer.

Adler Druck of Bad Elster, Germany, has been recognized by Air Motion Systems | AMS UV, for being the first printer in Germany to install an LED UV system on a sheetfed offset press. AMS has also released a new YouTube video highlighting LED UV printing success on a Ryobi sheetfed offset press at Adler Druck.
