During its fiscal year 2013 ending June 30, 2013, AlphaGraphics has reported 41 franchise agreements. This unit growth is more than double its fiscal year 2012 signings. AlphaGraphics attributes these strong results to the successful implementation of its business strategy to evolve from a printer to a trusted, marketing communications franchise serving small businesses.

As part of its business strategy to evolve from a printer to a marketing communications franchise, and to help further its franchise growth, AlphaGraphics Inc. has promoted Dave Buzza to chief development officer, and has hired Darin Hicks as vice president of special projects.
Three new franchisees located in New York, New Mexico and Rhode Island, are the latest to join the AlphaGraphics global network. "AlphaGraphics continues to attract highly-qualified candidates who are in a position to control their own destinies, and these three are outstanding additions to our Network," said Dave Buzza vice president of global development, AlphaGraphics.
According to Print Buyer Satisfaction Index, AlphaGraphics of Wood Dale, IL, achieved the best overall loyalty rating with 98 percent of its customers stating they are “Very Likely” to recommend them over other buyers. The benchmark is a compilation of all feedback gathered for hundreds of printers participating in CustomerPulse.
On the heels of an exhilarating GRAPH EXPO 2012, and in advance of verified show attendance data to be reported next week, the following is just a sampling of the comments from attendees and exhibitors who spoke out on the quality of this year’s show.
In the past month, four new owners have closed on franchise agreements to open new AlphaGraphics Business Centers. “These new owners represent the ideal AlphaGraphics franchisee, bringing industry experience, entrepreneurial success and a lot of talent to our network,” said Dave Buzza, vice president of global development for AlphaGraphics.
AlphaGraphics franchise owners collectively reported a 9 percent sales increase for the first six months of this year. Additionally, the 12-month revenue total increased more than 6.5 percent, compared to the same period in 2010-2011. Six centers reporting more than 50 percent growth and two centers topping the charts with more than 100 percent growth.

Karen Brinker, owner of AlphaGraphics in Hartford, CT, introduces Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney to the audience on April 11. Brinker, an AlphaGraphics franchisee for more than 20 years, also has a store in Greenwich, CT. She was selected by the Romney campaign to host the speech due to her success as a female business owner.
Survey Advantage released its Print Buyer Satisfaction Index (PBSI) for the quarter ended March 31, 2012. Top performing achieved over 86 percent loyalty, average performers 74 to 85 percent, and poor performers under 74 percent.
