Cenveo Plans Cost Savings ENGLEWOOD, CO—Cenveo announced a comprehensive plan to reduce operating expenses and streamline management functions, a plan that includes the elimination of about 125 jobs—mostly managerial positions. Through these moves, the company expects to save $9 million in 2005 and generate annual savings of $20 million. RRD to Sell Package Logistics CHICAGO—RR Donnelley has reached an agreement to sell its package logistics business to Heritage Partners, a Boston-based private equity firm that is the principal owner of American Package Express. Under terms of the agreement, Donnelley will receive cash in exchange for the assets and liabilities of its package logistics business, which includes CTC Direct, a wholly owned subsidiary. Garnett, who filled the open position created with the retirement of Tom Basore, took over on February 16. Garnett previously served as a vice president with Printing Industries of America (PIA) and, in addition to her duties as the new WOA executive director, she is also serving as GATF/PIA's senior staff member responsible for Special Interest Groups and Sections.
