Classic Graphics has acquired certain assets of Henderson, NC-based Harperprints. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Mike Harper, president and co-owner of Harperprints, has assumed the role of executive vice president, Triangle Division, in the combined company.

While 2010 was resplendent with major printing company acquisitions, its successor came and went with little fanfare. Asset sales and closures took center stage in 2011, and crime continued to play a leading role from a news standpoint.
David Pitts has wielded much influence over the success of Classic Graphics, which opened to $65,000 in overflow work in 1983 and has since catapulted to more than $50 million in sales. “Financial discipline is a big thing for me,” Pitts says.
