The 28˝ Prism 73E paper cutter from Colter & Peterson and the unique Microcut Cutter Control System is bound to attract small-, medium- and large-format printers and converters attending Graph Expo. The show is set for Sept. 25-28 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.

Nearly two years ago, Mark Smiley, owner and president of Badger Paperboard in Fredonia, WI, traded in an outdated, 100” Seybold paper cutter for an 85” Seybold unit rebuilt by Colter & Peterson, featuring the latest electronics and a separate ‘Flying Carpet” system. The trade turned out to be a winning move.
Adding a reconditioned 45" Polar paper cutter from Colter & Peterson has produced results that went above and beyond the expectations of Jason Henderberg, a 20-year employee who has served as Canfield & Tack’s director of manufacturing for the last five years.
Larry Ockenden, finishing operations manager at Hammer Packaging, expects to have his company's custom 75" Saber XXL paper cutter delivered and installed by Colter & Peterson in early March. This will be Hammer's third Saber paper cutter. "Our relationship with Colter & Peterson goes back many years," he says.
As business continues to grow, James Morland, vice president of operations for SunShine Paper in Aurora, CO, said the company cuts between 60,000 to 80,000 custom size sheets of paper per day. The team was looking for a new paper cutter and ran into one at GRAPH EXPO 14. When Morland saw the Saber XXL from Colter & Peterson in action, he thought "it was absolutely amazing."
