Ken Kaufman, president of Corporate Press, has made a number of bold and pivotal decisions whenever a choice between A, B and C confronted him. The Printing Industries of America/Graphic Arts Technical Foundation (PIA/GATF) is pleased to announce the installation of its 2009 Officers and Board of Directors. An installation ceremony took place on November 16, 2008 at PIA/GATF's Fall Administrative Meetings.
The Print Council is stepping up its drive to unite print providers and media decision-makers behind the effectiveness of printing as a marketing, entertainment and educational medium. Shareholders OK Vertis Plan BALTIMORE—Vertis shareholders approved the company’s prepackaged plan of organization. Once the plan becomes effective, Vertis can proceed with its merger with American Color Graphics (ACG). The restructuring will allow Vertis to reduce debt and interest cost, refocus investments and complete both the reorganization and merger in a couple of months, according to Mike DuBose, chairman and CEO of Vertis.
