The winners of GPA's 2015 Print & Design Contest, which honors excellence and creativity in printing, have been selected. Companies across North America submitted their entries on GPA substrates to compete in eight product categories for the Best of Category award. From the eight winning entries, Oregon Printing Communications of Dayton, Ohio, won this year's Best of Show award for its creative spin on a corporate capabilities booklet in the Ultra Digital Papers 2 category.
Crossmark Graphics has selected a new six-color, 41-inch KBA Rapida 106 press with with LED drying Technology that is set to arrive at its New Berlin, Wisconsin, facility this spring. "We’re excited for the delivery of our new Rapida 106 press—our first from KBA," said James Dobrzynski Sr., founder of Crossmark Graphics. "It will be our workhorse press day-to-day producing all types of print jobs including plastic, lenticular, and canvas.
The system executes precision 4-side trims and strip cuts without human intervention, reducing manpower and dramatically increasing efficiency.
