World Book Night U.S., with the help of Domtar Corp., will distribute 500,000 free books at thousands of locations across America on April 23, 2013. "We're thrilled that Domtar will be working with us and helping get people connected with books they will love to read," said World Book Night U.S. Executive Director Carl Lennertz.
Domtar Corp. has signed an agreement to acquire Xerox's paper and print media products business in the United States and Canada. Xerox will continue to manufacture, sell and support its broad range of consumables, such as toner and ink, and Xerox Replacement Cartridges. The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2013, subject to customary closing conditions.

An experiment printing news and advertising on restaurant receipts has been launched in DC’s Old Ebbitt Grill. The idea is to see if news updates will serve as a customer amenity by leveraging existing printers as a new printing press.
