Kyocera Corp. has filed a complaint against Eastman Kodak for infringement of one of Kyocera’s patents for inkjet recording head structure. The Wall Street Journal reports that Kodak has characterized the move as “a legal tactic being employed by a technology competitor to change the dynamics of a long-running breach-of-contract dispute in which we have alleged failure to pay royalties.”

INTERQUEST announced a successful sixth annual Digital Printing in Government and Higher Education Forum. The event took place in Washington, DC on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011, at the Omni Shoreham Hotel and drew nearly 100 attendees. Speakers from government and higher education shared innovative applications, opportunities and challenges in their work environments.
