ROCHESTER, NY—Eastman Kodak has named xpedx as the company's primary U.S. national authorized reseller for Kodak's suite of commercial prepress products. In the process, Kodak has notified Pitman Co. that Kodak is terminating Pitman's right to distribute all Kodak products. This termination will take effect on Oct. 5.

MINNEAPOLIS—To enhance the speed and quality of the in-line printing capabilities on its web offset presses, Japs-Olson Co. has ordered 24 Kodak Prosper S10 imprinting systems. The inkjet printheads will be used to produce high-volume direct mail and other variable data applications.

Japs-Olson will use the Prosper S10 systems in its hybrid printing operations for high-volume direct mail and other variable data applications in on its web offset presses.

In the largest purchase to date for the KODAK PROSPER S10 Imprinting System, the Japs-Olson Co. has signed for 24 PROSPER S10 Imprinting System printheads to upgrade its hybrid printing operations for high-volume direct mail and other variable data applications.

GDUSA editors will choose the winners based on overall visual appearance, effective communication, and the integration of NEXPRESS Dimensional Printing System capabilities into the cover design.

The funding supports a Kodak Lab for Collaborative Research, as well as scholarship, equipment and operations at the sustainability institute.
