Ennis enters into a Unit Purchase Agreement with Alstyle Operations pursuant to which it has agreed to sell Alstyle Apparel.

In a stock purchase transaction that closed December 31, 2014, Kay Toledo Tag/Special Service Partners were acquired by Ennis Inc. Key Toledo Tag has locations in Toledo, OH, and Neenah, WI, through Special Service Partners and produces $25 million in sales. The operations will continue under the Kay Toledo Tag/Special Service Partners names with all locations continuing their normal operations.
Ennis Inc.'s Printegra-Arlington, TX, facility will relocate from a leased facility to a company-owned building less than one mile away. Considering the close proximity of the Printegra-Arlington and Royal Business Forms locations, it will be consolidating the production into one facility. The transition will be planned and executed over the next six months.
Ennis Inc. in Midlothian, TX, has acquired Hoosier Data Forms in Indianapolis. John Cornelius, previous owner of Hoosier Data Forms, will remain with Hoosier in a sales and management capacity.
As part of the Sovereign Business Forms transaction, Ennis Inc. has acquired Mutual Graphics of Knoxville, TN, and will integrate production into the Mutual Graphics facility, no later than the end of September, 2014. Employees affected by this consolidation will be considered for employment at any other Ennis location.

For the first quarter ended May 31, 2014, Ennis reported its consolidated net sales for the quarter were $141.2 million, an increase of $2.7 million or 1.9 percent, from $138.5 million for the same quarter last year. During the quarter, the company generated $17.3 million in EBITDA compared to $17.0 million for the comparable quarter last year.
MIDLOTHIAN, TX—Ennis Inc. has announced that two of its subsidiary companies have entered into a definitive agreement to acquire substantially all of the assets of Sovereign Business Forms and five related entities. The acquired entities are TRI-C Business Forms, Houston; Falcon Business Forms, Corsicana, TX; Forms Manufacturers, Girard, KS; Mutual Graphics, Knoxville, TN; and Curtis Business Forms, Holyoke, MA.
