INX Digital's new ESC inkjet inks has been formulated for wide-format applications and works in conjunction with the Epson Stylus GS6000 commercial outdoor printer. ESC produces vibrant color for outdoor banners, posters and tradeshow graphics, in addition to its added value for use indoors.
The Labeltape Group has purchased and installed the Epson SurePress L-4033AW inkjet digital label press for its label printing services. The Labeltape Group owns and operates two label printing companies—Labeltape in Caledonia, MI, and A-Flex Label in Willowbrook, IL. The Epson SurePress is installed at the A-Flex facility, producing labels for both locations.
Epson has revealed the next generation of large-format color printers—the Epson SureColor T3270, T5270, T7270, T5270D and T7270D—that are available in both single- and now dual-roll models, and feature the Epson PrecisionCore TFP print head and Epson UltraChrome XD pigment ink.

Epson president Minoru Usui has accused technology companies such as Samsung and Apple of copying each other, saying most of the components inside their gadgets are the same.
In an interview with Fairfax Media, Usui took a swipe at the tech giants for their products' lack of "originality," saying that if you opened most devices they used the same parts.
He made the comments while talking about how Epson would soon move beyond its traditional product range to become involved in emerging technologies, such as wearables. Usui said Epson was creating wearable technology that was "ahead of the rest of the world."
Epson America's recently introduced SureColor S-Series models have helped professionals across a range of signage, vehicle graphics and fine art printing markets, vastly expand the limits of solvent printing.
