Freeport was given the press manufacturer’s Worldwide Makeready Achievement Award in recognition of the most plates changed and/or the most makereadies ever achieved in a 24-hour period on any Komori 16-page web press. It produced 155 press runs and changed 1,240 printing plates on two single-web 16-page presses.

GARDENA, CA—Southwest Offset Printing (SOP) has formed a strategic alliance with two regional print partners—Freeport Press of Freeport, OH, and Democrat Printing & Lithography of Little Rock, AR—to manufacture the inaugural issue of Help Me Rent Magazine (HMRM), which launches in 32 cities in July.
