GFX International in Grayslake, IL, has acquired an Inca Onset S50i UV digital flatbed press. GFX, a long-standing partner of Fujifilm and Inca, was the first in North America to preview the new digital technology.

A new Acuity Advance Select HS wide-format UV printer has been introduced by Fujifilm North America Corp., Graphic Systems Div., that can run at speeds up to a maximum 535 ft2/hr in Production Squared mode. The new Acuity Advance Select HS-6 and HS-6 X2 models feature the inclusion of six independent ink channels.

Through the purchase of Royce Photo/Graphics, a full-line dealer and authorized service center for the graphic arts and photographic market, Fujifilm North America, Graphic Systems Div., will strengthen its capabilities to serve a wide range of print providers in Salt Lake City. Effective July 1, 2013, Royce will become part of Fujifilm’s Graphic Systems Div. as a sales, service and distribution center.

Duggal Visual Solutions, based in New York City, has installed an Inca Onset Q406i UV digital press. Duggal is reportedly the first printer in the United States to install this press, and for the last 12 weeks, its facility has served as the beta test site for the new Inca press.

By installing Fujifilm’s ColorPath Sync Align and ColorPath Sync DLP color management solutions, Publishers Press in Shepherdsville, KY, was able to successfully achieve G7 Master Qualification.
