Jake Creps, president of Creps United in Indiana, PA, pledged to rebuild his facility after a fire destroyed it last October. Plans to construct a new 100,000-square-foot facility are fast under way, with three new Goss Sunday presses to follow. Creps says the company will be back in full production in the fall.
The Goss International booth at the Graphics of the Americas trade show (February 21-23, 2013) at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL, will provide the platform for collaborating on a wide range of technical solutions designed for the specific requirements of North and Central American markets.
A lot of printers produce direct mail products, but there may not be anyone doing it quite like Wheeling, IL-based SG360, a Segerdahl company. There were only four offset presses actually running at GRAPH EXPO last month, but the leading vendors still had booths on the show floor. Video presentations, interactive displays, print samples, and standalone press consoles or press units were instead used to showcase new developments, enhanced maintenance offerings and press monitoring services.

With intensive print testing completed throughout October at its headquarters, Goss International began shipping its first Sunday Vpak packaging press on schedule to Precision Press in North Mankato, MN, this week. The new variable-repeat web offset press system will be configured for flexible packaging and label applications.
Since the asset acquisition of Vits Print GmbH in December, Goss has assimilated production of the Vits equipment into its plant in Boxmeer, the Netherlands. Thirteen orders for Vits equipment have been taken or fulfilled during this period, with installations in Europe, Asia and the Americas.
CONCORD, NH—The former international trade finance manager for Goss International in Dover, NH, has been sentenced to a year in federal prison and two years of supervised release for defrauding a number of overseas clients through a shell company formed with a Boston banker, the New Hampshire Union Leader reported.
