TOKYO—Konica Minolta and Paris-based MGI Digital Graphic Technology (MGI) announced that they have reached an agreement whereby Konica Minolta will acquire a 10 percent stake in MGI, valued at €13.7 million (about US$18.7 million), through a reserved capital increase. MGI will use the investment to drive future growth and is aimed at establishing a stronger presence in the professional digital printing market.

CHICAGO—From among the record number of companies and entries to the PRINT 13 Must See 'Ems competition, the judges combed through the submissions and selected 49 entries for the honor. These winners were announced in August and now the 12 Best of Category winners have been revealed. At PRINT 13, GTI Graphic Technology will be showcasing its Soft View Model SOFV-1xiQ desktop soft proofing system that easily provides accurate color comparisons between hard copy prints and computer monitors. The system was awarded a 2013 Must See 'Em award.
