A new Speedmaster CD 102-6+L with X-Package has been installed at Direct Printing Impressions (DPI) of West Caldwell, N.J.

During the third quarter, Heidelberg’s operating result (EBITDA) and the net result after taxes improved further compared to the same quarter of the previous year. A large number of orders placed at drupa for presses with longer delivery times that were presented at and ordered during the trade show will be supplied on schedule in the fourth quarter. The series launch of these products at the end of the financial year will also generate higher sales and a better results than in the previous year.

The 1,000th VLF printing unit from Heidelberg has been installed at Green Bay Packaging — the new Speedmaster XL 145-7+L with UV.

Multi Packaging Solutions is the first pilot user of a Primefire 106 from Heidelberg.

Modern Litho was over capacity in terms of its ability to output more jobs. “And when I say ‘over capacity,’ I mean, we were running 24/7 and still had to turn down work that fit us,” recalls Greg Meeker, co-owner and VP of sales and marketing at the Jefferson City, Mo.-based printer. Elk Grove Village, Ill.-based Paulson Press has added a Speedmaster XL 106-4+LYY-P+4+L with UV from Heidelberg.

In July, Premier Folding Carton, a division of SJS Packaging, in Cincinnati, installed a Promatrix 106 CS diecutting machine.

FCL Graphics has added one 45” guillotine cutter, two MBO continuous feed folders, and one Heidelberg saddle stitcher.
