HEIDELBERG, GERMANY—Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg) announced that Marcel Kiessling, a member of the company’s executive management board for sales and service, has left the company as part of a mutual agreement. Kiessling joined Heidelberg in 1989 and was responsible for guiding the Americas business from 2004 to 2010.
The new Speedmaster CD 102 from Heidelberg, equipped with Preset Plus Delivery and a comprehensive package of automation components, can boost productivity by around 10 percent on the previous series. The press will be available in April.
Juergen Grimm has been chosen to succeed president Harald Weimer as president of Heidelberg Americas, effective April 1. Grimm most recently led the worldwide Business Area Sheetfed for Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, and in his new role, he will have responsibility for Heidelberg USA, Heidelberg Canada, Heidelberg Mexico and Heidelberg Brazil.
