Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG is unveiling the world premiere of this press in Düsseldorf, where it is generating a great deal of interest among visitors.
DUSSELDORF, GERMANY—DS Graphics of Lowell, MA, signed an order for two Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 106 perfecting presses during drupa 2012. The eight- and 10-color models, each with an aqueous coater, are capable of running at 18,000 sph in perfecting mode on all substrates, and are reportedly the first two perfectors of this speed sold worldwide.
DWS Printing, based in Deer Park, NY, has announced the purchase of a new Speedmaster XL 106-8+L at drupa 2012. The new press is the first sold for installation in the United States to be configured with the combination of CutStar inline sheeting system, Hybrid UV technology, and both Prinect Inpress and Axis Control color measurement and control systems.
