Fujifilm, Inca’s exclusive global distribution partner, will demonstrate the new Inca Onset R40i wide-format, flatbed UV printer, at FESPA Digital 2014, May 20-23, in Munich, Germany. The Onset R40i uses Fujifilm Dimatix Spectra printheads, and a maximum output resolution of 1,200 dpi can be produced on media up to 3.14mx1.6m (123.6x63") and up to 50mm (2") thick at the rate of up to 80 full-bed sheets per hour.
The Inca Vision, a customer support service for Inca Digital flatbed UV inkjet printers, lets Inca remotely and regularly monitor and diagnose a machine, and catch issues before the customers decide to call for engineer service.
At the SGIA Expo to be held October 23-25 in Orlando, FL, Fujifilm will display the latest Inca Onset model, the new six-color plus white Inca Onset S40i large-format flatbed UV inkjet press. The new enhanced unit, is ideal for businesses that produce high-value backlit/frontlit and double-sided day/night POS display graphics where the ability to print high-opacity white as a base, spot color or top layer, quickly and cost effectively, is important.
GFX International in Grayslake, IL, has acquired an Inca Onset S50i UV digital flatbed press. GFX, a long-standing partner of Fujifilm and Inca, was the first in North America to preview the new digital technology.
Fujifilm invited roughly 30 printers, ranging from screen to commercial printing operations, to its facility here for an Inkjet Technology Summit, Sept. 17-18. This two-day show-and-tell was actually held at the Crown Westin Hotel in Kansas City, MO, and at Fujifilm's offices just over the state line in Kansas City, KS.
