Intelligencer Printing of Lancaster, PA, completed the purchase of Lancaster Ultra-Graphics in Landisville, PA, for an undisclosed price. The acquisition is expected to "easily double" Intelligencer Printing's print-on-demand revenue, said Robert Mason, Intelligencer Printing's president and CEO.
Helping to generate that extra revenue will be the addition of Lancaster Ultra-Graphics equipment, including a Xerox iGen4 digital press, and its prepress capabilities, including a photo studio.
The transfer of the Lancaster Ultra-Graphics equipment and eight of its employees from its former location in Landisville to Intelligencer Printing's Eden Road facility is under way and due to be completed by Sunday.
