Subsequent to the announcement last Monday that IWCO Direct had acquired “certain assets” of DGI Services, reports began cropping up late Friday about a letter DGI sent to employees saying it was winding down operations due to “industrial sabotage.”

CHANHASSEN, MN—Direct marketing solutions provider IWCO Direct has purchased a portion of the assets of DGI Services, a former direct marketing services provider headquartered in Swedesboro, NJ, with an additional location in Cerritos, CA.
DGI Services, a fully integrated direct marketing services provider, was headquartered in Swedesboro, NJ, with an additional location in Cerritos, CA. IWCO Direct will transition the acquired assets to its existing locations in California, Minnesota and Pennsylvania.

CHANHASSEN, MN—IWCO Direct, a national provider of direct marketing solutions, announced that Joseph Morrison, currently executive vice president and CFO, will take on an expanded role as president. Patrick Deck has been named executive vice president, chief marketing officer (CMO).
According to the DMA's Quarterly Business Review (QBR) for the second quarter of 2011, marketers reported moderate growth in spending, sales, profits and staffing, compared with the previous quarter (Q1 2011) and same quarter last year (Q2 2010).
