KBA North America has entered into a strategic alliance with Tensor International to jointly market Tensor’s equipment solutions to the semi-commercial, insert and newspaper print markets worldwide. Under the terms of the agreement, KBA will actively promote Tensor’s single-width printing solutions.

After six months, earnings of the Koenig & Bauer Group (KBA) were up significantly on the first quarter and 2013. The company's Fit@All realignment has progressed well, and orders are up 2.6 percent, with 3.1 percent more sales than in the previous year.

Rand Graphics, a print specialist in point-of-purchase applications based in Wichita, KS, will be adding a second KBA press—a new six-color, 41" KBA Rapida 105 press with coater, UV, and a plastics package—to its arsenal. The new press is due for delivery early fall of 2014.
