Komori Corp. took the first order for its newest press, the Lithrone GLX40 Carton. The purchaser, Chesapeake, a U.K.-based pharmaceutical and healthcare packaging provider, will install the six-color, H-UV equipped 41˝ press at its plant in Leicester.
The Print House, a full-service commercial printer located in Malden, MA, recently installed its third Komori press—a five-color Lithrone SX 29—to accommodate increased demand for high-quality, unique color applications that can get to market quickly.
Komori America launched the Impremia presses at drupa 2012, marking Komori’s entry into a new market space and underscoring Komori’s kando philosophy of exceeding customer expectations. The Impremia line consists of two inkjet offerings, the IS29 sheetfed model and the IW web-fed machine.

Landa Nanography is a new digital printing category employing water-based inks. It combines the versatility of digital with the qualities and speed of offset printing, with a low cost per page.
