Ennis Acquires All Royal Stock MIDLOTHIAN, TX—Printed business products specialist Ennis Inc. has acquired all of the stock of Arlington, TX-based Royal Business Forms for $3.7 million in Ennis stock. Royal Business Forms posted sales of $12 million for its fiscal year that ended Sept. 30, 2004. Royal Business Forms opened its doors in 1959. According to the National Association for Printing Leadership (NAPL) "State-of-the-Industry Report," 58.6 percent of printers currently offer fulfillment services, while 12 percent say they will offer it by the year 2004, bringing the total to just under 71 percent. Motheral Printing Chairman Dies FORTH WORTH, TX—Carl Motheral, 76, chairman of Motheral Printing, died of a heart attack in January. Motheral was part of the second generation to run the family-owned printing business that his father and mother, Fitzhugh and Ella Motheral, started in 1934. He joined what was then a small family business in 1950. Mr. Motheral ran the business along with his brothers Foist and Wesley, and retained the title of chairman when he retired four years ago.
