Landa Digital Printing, Benny Landa's nano-printing venture, plans to recruit dozens of employees in Israel, and to supply its first printers to its customers in 2015, sources inform Globes.
The next stage is setting up a global marketing and sales network, and Landa Digital Printing recently recruited Marc Schillemans, who has served in senior executive positions in printing industry, as VP sales for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
"In the next year, we'll hire sales and marketing personnel, and we're already hiring more engineering and production employees," Landa says. "Today, we have over 200 employees, and we'll hire dozens more."

So, here we are, 30 months after we promised that our Nanographic Printing presses would perform to perfection, but the first one has yet to be delivered to a customer. Yes, we did warn that "perfection takes time," but it is taking more time than we had predicted. The reasons? Well, there are two.
The first is that as exciting as the drupa 2012 models were, they were not exactly what the customers wanted. The second reason is that we had to improve print quality.

WESEL, GERMANY and REHOVOT, ISRAEL—The specialty chemicals Group ALTANA and Landa Corp. have concluded an equity financing agreement under which ALTANA will invest €100 million (US$135 million) for a minority stake in Landa Digital Printing. Both companies see the agreement not only as a financial investment, but also as a starting point for a long-term strategic partnership to bring digital printing solutions to the commercial, packaging and publishing markets. Other units of the Landa Group, including Landa Labs and Landa Ventures, are not included in the transaction.
