Mohawk will launch a new line of inkjet substrates at GRAPH EXPO 2014 at its booth. The new Inkjet media line consists of four substrates—Mohawk Inkjet DuPont Tyvek, Mohawk Inkjet Polyester Pressure Sensitive Permanent Adhesive, Mohawk Inkjet Matte Backlit Film, Mohawk Inkjet Textured Lightblock Film—that are designed to support a wide variety of printing applications.

At the Dscoop9 conference, March 6-8, in Orlando, FL, Mohawk will announce an expanded portfolio of synthetic substrates, including new Mohawk Synthetic Paper with i-Tone. Samples of Mohawk Synthetic Paper with i-Tone, as well as other digital products will be available at the Mohawk booth (#401).

Mohawk Fine Papers has announced a multi-million dollar expansion to its converting center which will pave the way for up to 100 new jobs. The company is investing millions of dollars in converting equipment upgrades at its one-million-square-foot converting center located on Route 45 (in Saybrook, OH).
The company in the process of expanding its envelope operations from a standard eight-hour day, five days per week schedule to a new three-shift-per-day, seven days a week operation, said Kevin Richard, president.
