GRAFTON, WI—Philipp Lithographing will be adding a third large-format KBA press to its arsenal. A new 57˝ Rapida 145 six-color press will be delivered in September for installation alongside the printer’s existing 81˝ KBA Rapida 205 and 64˝ Rapida 162A presses on the pressroom floor.
Philipp Lithographing, an ultra-high-quality, large-format printer based in Grafton, WI, has ordered a 57" KBA Rapida 145 six-color sheetfed press to be delivered in September for installation alongside its existing KBA Rapida 205 81" and Rapida 162A 64" presses.

The Label Printing Industries of America (LPIA) is pleased to announce the appointment of new officers to the LPIA Board of Directors for 2009–2010. Serving as chairman of the board is Randy Hicks, vice president of operations, WS Packaging Group/SenecaSalem in Franklin, PA. Serving as vice chairman is Bernie Lacy, vice president, Litho Press Inc. in Indianapolis. The secretary/treasurer position will be held by Louis Iovoli, vice president of sales and marketing, Hammer Packaging Corporation, Rochester, NY. William J. Hickey, III will serve as the immediate past chairman. Bill is the president & CEO of Smyth Companies in Minneapolis.

The machine, which is the first of its kind in the Atlanta market, was installed by dealer Paper Handling Solutions.
